Joe is the former editorial cartoonist for the Lake Country Reporter newspaper in Waukesha, Wisconsin published twice a week. His editorial cartoons have been published in several community newspapers around the Milwaukee and Waukesha area. In 2009, two of Joe’s editorial cartoons took 3rd place and honorable mention in the Homer Davenport International Editorial Cartoon Contest, one of them being chosen and published in the book “Best Editorial Cartoons of the year 2010” by Charles Brooks, available at all Barnes and Noble and major book stores Placing 2nd and honorable mention several times in the past, Joe tends to add a bite to his political cartoons, always stepping on the line, without crossing over (most of the time).
